1 pm Worship
7 pm Bible Study
9 am Bible Study
Due to the serious concerns for everyone’s health, and after much prayer and thought, we believe it best at the present time to discontinue all services or gatherings for March 22 & 29 for the church EXCEPT the Sunday worship period as God's word directs us. The worship time is at 10:00 a.m.. There will be no Sunday morning Bible classes, pm worship or Wednesday night Bible study for these two weeks. Also, there will be no "5th Sunday Fellowship Meal" on March 29th. We will make updates to this schedule as needed.
We encourage you to pray for all those in the world who are experiencing this pandemic. Please do everything possible to keep you and your family safe.
Pertaining to our seating in worship, it will be helpful if families sit together. We will try to take every precaution in serving the communion and dealing with the collection of the offerings in as sanitary of an environment, as possible, for everyone’s safety. We customarily greet one another with a handshake or hug, but in taking every precaution during this time to not spread any germs, we suggest you no longer do that and for now practice "social distancing" instead. There are hand sanitizer dispensers in the foyer and in the restrooms.
Please decide what is best for your situation and know everyone will understand.
YOU OR ANYONE IN YOUR FAMILY SHOULD AVOID PUBLIC GATHERINGS IF:
1. YOU OR ANYONE IN YOUR FAMILY IS EXPERIENCING A FEVER
2. YOU HAVE ANY FLU TYPE SYMPTOM SUCH AS COUGHING, SNEEZING, SORE THROAT, OR RUNNY NOSE.
3. YOUR AGE OR HEALTH IS A FACTOR AND HAVE A WEAK IMMUNE SYSTEM.
4. YOU ARE A CAREGIVER TO SOMEONE WHO IS AT RISK AND YOU MIGHT EXPOSE THEM TO THE VIRUS.
The Emerald Beach Church of Christ is a family of Christians seeking to walk the old paths (Jeremiah 6:16) and do all things according to the pattern found in the New Testament for the church of Christ
(2 Timothy 1:13). We hope this website is helpful to describe to you who we are and what we are seeking to be as a part of God's family.
