Kerry & DEBORAH Knight

Brother Knight came to serve as our minister in 2021. Alongside his wife Deborah, they have enriched the congregation at Emerald Beach with encouragement and a love for the Bible. The preaching has brought many to Christ and developed a sense of family among the members.

Kerry and Deborah are originally from Alabama and have worked with churches of Christ there, as well as churches in Texas, Tennessee and Jacksonville, Florida.

Kerry studied at Auburn University in Psychology, and Troy University in Counseling. His first church work was at the Memphis School of Preaching. He went on to study at Alabama Christian College and the Alabama School of Religion where he received the BA and MA degrees in Bible. It is now Amridge University. In 2021 he received the PhD degree in Bible Archaeology from Newburgh Theological Seminary.

Kerry and Deborah have traveled extensively. Brother Knight has preached in Scotland, Greece, Israel, Jordan, Italy, and Egypt.

Brother Knight is a prolific writer with articles for many papers. He published the book, “God wants to bless your life” in 2023.

I never grow tired of preaching. The preparation is equally satisfying.

“Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with the whole heart!” (Psalm 119:2).
